Hi! I’m looking to commission a custom painting from photos of my sons sitting on forklifts at my husband’s business. The business is something he built from the ground up, so the artwork is meant to feel sentimental, timeless, and elevated — more like heirloom/fine art than a typical family portrait. A few important things I’m looking for: • I’m specifically looking for a REAL hand-painted piece (oil or acrylic preferred), not AI-generated, digitally painted, or filtered artwork • I’d love a painterly, modern impressionist style with visible brush texture and softened details rather than hyper realism • I want the industrial setting/forklift to remain part of the story, while still keeping the child as the focal point • I’m drawn to muted, sophisticated tones — warm industrial neutrals, dusty blues, charcoal, soft sky tones, etc. • The final piece will be displayed in our home and eventually become part of a matching series of all 4 of our boys over time, so I’d love a timeless and cohesive style Could you let me know: Whether your work is fully hand painted from scratch What medium you use (oil/acrylic/etc.) If you can share close-up examples of brush texture or past commissioned work in a similar style Your typical turnaround time and pricing for a large vertical portrait Thank you so much — I’m excited to find the right artist for this project!
